Augmented Reality and 3D

Faculty presentations that used Augmented Reality (AR) as their choice of instructional tool:

  1. Barbara E. Davis - Introduction to the Eye
  2. David Fifer - Blood Flow Through the Human Heart
  3. Gwendolyn Graham - Dr. Graham used Augmented Reality to create three-dimensional models of a slave ship and an African- American doll. She developed these 3D renderings, embedded in a video lecture, for her African-American studies course. Slave Ship Video | Buttercup Video | African Artists Video
  4. Shirley O'Brien - Sensory Processing and Occupation using Screencast-O-Matic and Augmented Reality with 3-D modeling. Sensory spaces in the home when constructed blending Universal Design and Sensory Processing Principles allows all to use the space equitably and with ease. This presentation utilizes the technology to show the creation of a sensory space for an individual with autism spectrum disorder.
